The background story
(Basically, its when Nick broke up with Miley and he did it through a letter so it hurt even worse. Miley was pretty much devistated. And we all know she went out with Justin, Lucas and now Liam, but its like sorta fast foward to Liam, and how hard Nick is taking it because after he broke up with Selena in hopes him and Miley were reconnecting. Liam comes in and hes alone and feels crushed. And Miley is rebeling alittle and hes afraid his Miley, the good girl is gone. So he tries to be with Selena again and he cant. So he sits there hating himself)
