Nice thing about all of this is that the music and movie industries lobbied (in other words put money on politicians "pockets") to create the laws we have today. I was under the impression congress was supposed to be there for us, the people and protect us from groups that would take advantage of the population. Funny thing is that I'm sure the music and movie industries take grant money from the federal government at our expense... but still we the people get absolutely nothing in return.

Okay this is what piracy laws are stupid let me break it down to you :
Stealing: Is when you actually go to the company itself and steal the software.
Sharing: When a person actually buys the software, cracks it, creates a keygen for it and then distribute it to the Internet for everyone to use how the hell is it stealing!!?
