I love all animals....I am soooooo happy Miss Ellie won week 5! There are thousands of beautiful dogs in this contest wish i could vote for them all, but when I heard Miss Ellie was giving her money to the Humane Society...she got my vote! Way to go Miss Ellie!!!!

I agree 100% with you, cosmo is up there every single week and gets bit out by the "favorites aka people that just have more power" the past 2 weeks he landed in at number 3 because of famous dogs and people that are prematurely picked as winners, with that said everyone i'd like to announce JASPER as the week 6 winner :) congrats jasper for having an owner that runs a web site and is giving away things such as "special powers" to those that vote for you good job. LMAO

It's just unfair to other contestants. And if somebody says 'everybody has the same means", no they don't! Not all these pet owners can get on the radio and be featured, not all can get spotlight, not all are manipulators--most people enter their pets and say "look at my dog, isn't she/he cute"?

It just sucks! Pet owners come here to be in a fair game, but they won't get it.

There shouldn't be manipulation and playing on people emotions that way. Look up the word "CUTE" and what that means.

There are a lot of photos which really look cute, and I believe these pets were entered rightfully in and they should be able to get a chance at this.

not because of the sad set-up story and manipulative compassion it creates in people, watching the girl's terribly sad photos. I'm pretty sure if they say how happy and alive she feels and has snooky now, that there was no other reason to talk of the unrelated past to the present fact of her pet being CUTE or NOT). of this just freaks me out.

And please don't jump into my face, ok. I'm very compassionate person, but I'm not stupid nor blind, at the same time I do not like to be manipulated

Cute pet contest shouldn't be about "our own sad stories, we all lost pets in our time, and many in a very brutal or sad way. Nevertheless it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CONTEST (for example, "snooky" who pops up every time you type "cute dog contest"; people should vote for him if they find him cute,

they don't stand a chance to win, and how when some have radio exposure, newspapers and such. Human Society does good by helping animals, but they should do what all other organizations do--fundraisers, private donations, events for fundraisers, getting support from companies associated with pet products or animal related, or even unrelated at all.

Same goes to Sullivan County Animal Shelter (Week 10)... IT'S NOT "BEST LOCAL SHELTER" Contest... When their video says "help Animal Shelter Win"

First of all, nobody knows why she was left behind. If her owners discarded her because she was ugly, that makes no sense, They wouldn't have had her to begin with. But why things are twisted specific way always have purpose. Just look at everybody's reaction "Ohh, poor thing, she was discarded because she was ugly..." people feel sorry and then this same dog "is a hero", well it is easy to give away something you don't have and wouldn't have anyways

This isn't even a cutest dog competition. Any dog could have been a sellout and donate money they otherwise wouldn't have had, but they didn't because it's a CUTE dog competition. This is so rigged anyways so it doesn't really matter.
