2 of my friends running each other. The Mustang was like brand new at the time.

  • @MrSupercoolguy22 I like vettes, camaros, mustangs, trans am etc. but a corvette is a sports car, and I have never known a camaro, or anything else in the pony car line up that could smoke a vette. The new ZR1 is pretty quick, but I would never compared it to the quickest mustang car... It just doesn't work. Either way I hate it when American fans hate on other American fans, I say give the mustang guy credit for buying that car over a Japanese made rice burner...

  • Well you knew that the mustang was going to get killed plus the Vette got an awsome launch, it looked like a jump but the lights on the tree were green. I don't think the Vette was stock either, it was about a 14.2 car back in 87 which is still 1.2 seconds faster than the laughable 15.4 the mustang pulled. Plus the Corvette is also 8 years older than the mustang, imagine putting a 95 Vette up to the 95 mustang and forget it, tough enough to watch this as the 2 cars don't fit in the same picture.

  • i got a 86 and its says it supposed to run 14.2 but we got mid 13s out of it

(as far as i know its stock)

  • @badcolt944 93 cobra could not outrun a 93 Vette.

  • @johntvette 93 Cobra...end of story

  • @badcolt944 I love revisionist history. Please give me an example Mustangs in the 90's "eating" Vettes?

  • @Milehighsnake98 Uh...in 96 they still had the 215 horsepower 4.6L. How do you figure they hit 305? They were bad all the way through the 90s. They didn't hit 300 until they moved to the 3 valve in 2005 and that thing wouldn't dip into 13s without gears in the "package". But who likes to go 75mph @ 3000~ rpm? Not me. The mustang hit 260 hp in 1999. Bad is bad.

  • @Model192 Actually, the mustang hit 305/300 in 1996. They ran low 13s off the showroom floor, which was fast enough to rape LT1 F bodies and it was a drivers race with LS1 cars. The GT's were a bit more anemic through the 90s, peaking at 225hp in 1998, before the switch to the 4.6L SOHC PI engine with 260hp in 1999.

  • @badcolt944 Really? That is the worst attempt at a retort I've ever seen. Not to mention you can't even spell, and you're still wrong and somehow offended by the fact that 90s Mustangs sucked a fat dong at 215hp 280 torque. I don't see you uploading any fast 90s mustang vids.

  • @Model192 ...They didnt need all that HP retard thats why its so funny your big PIG motors couldn't even keep up with the LIGHT and FAST mustangs....HAHAH your shit

  • @badcolt944 Uh...in the 90s mustangs topped out at a WHOPPING 215 horsepower until...what...early 2000? Camaro/Trans Am/Vette was at 285/305, then 325/350?

90s mustangs were and are trashcans.
