I am a very curious guy. I wonder about everything and I am eager to explore and discover new places. I'd go to the moon if I had the opportunity to. I would very much like to travel all around the world, discovering new cultures, foods, sights, smells, etc. If you have any questions that you would like to ask me, please feel free to do so.

One year ago at this time I was exploring and discovering Europe. I've included some photos from Europe that will give you a small sample of my European adventures.

  • Erik,

That ancient and beautifully-preserved area outside of Rome is called Ostia Antica, and was the original port of Rome.

    Ciao!

  • @cjay2 Cjay,

I was able to visit Ostia Antica with two of my study abroad friends and one friend who lives in Rome who I met from Youtube. He was able to point out and explain some of the history of the ancient city. I loved it there! We went on a late October day when the weather was warm and the sun was shining with a nice blue sky overhead!

  • I got back from Greenland. I went hiking under the midnight sun. It 's definitely a great place for the curious. I do hope you make it there someday.

  • @B1ueGravey That sounds very cool! I would like to check out some northern countries such as Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden during the summer to see such a thing!

  • Erik, you are a very fortunate young man! As a very curious person myself, I too have had the pleasure of travel. Throughout North America, some Central and South America, throughout Europe, and some in the Middle East. It's a great way to satisfy some of that curiosity. Stay curious sir! It's an amazing gift! Even when it takes one to dark places, one is usually the better for the experience.

  • @zeek72358 Traveling is an awesome thing!

  • great pics Erik!! :) looks like u had a lot of fun!

  • YOU are still the most refreshing dude on youtube! I heart your channel.

  • @StraightActingGayGuy Hehe! I went on the same kind of day, 'cept it was hot (mid 90s). Did you hit up that ice-cold public water spigot at the entrance to the park upon leaving? I did - wow was that awesome! ;-) I needed that.

  • Amazing photos. So how have you managed to travel to so many places? It's so expensive?

  • Wiki rules!

  • What was your reaction to the movie Broke Back Mountain?

  • Dear Erik:

No need to get into a relationship until you are over 23 or out of college. Being in a relationship with all those pretty men around is too frustrating. Admire their beauty and let them admire yours which is many fold. Just think of all the students that want to meet you.

    Best,

    Rick

  • Dear Erik:

That curiosity is golden and will carry you well through the rest of your life. As for being shy, people want to meet you. If you make the first move you can literally change the world. Handsome, intelligent, imaginative and curious anyone meeting you is lucky. You are giving them a gift by speaking to them first. Like the Clay Aiken song, "Don't Save It All for Christmas Day, find a way to give a little love every day and the love you give is speaking first.

    Best,

    Rick
