Awesome! Thanks for posting this. Makes me want to take my Starsky & Hutch clone to San Pedro and get it's pic taken at these locations. How'd you find them? Isn't Hutch's apt in Venice Beach? Venice Place, wasn't it? Once again, thanks! I rediscovered S&H on Hulu.com about 3 yrs ago and loved it so much I built my own car!

Thanks for doing the legwork on this. I have been a fan of "Starsky and Hutch" for 30 years, and it's interesting to see that some of those familiar places remain -- those most of them are unrecognizable now. I look forward to future installments!

@frequentfiler Hutch's apartment is in Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, about 1 block from the beach. Starsky's apartment is near North Sycamore. I've visited both and have photos.

I often wonder what Paul Glaser thinks as he drives around as he lives in Venice now.

I've visited a few S&H locations, it was a childhood dream and I was finally able to fulfill it in 2005, I've done it several times since.

Thanks for the vid, it was lovely to see the contrast.

mrsuperspeed - not the exact address but the location. While we were in the canals we came across one of the residents who has lived there since the 50's and while talking with her about the history, she happened to mention that a popular cop show of the 70's filmed in the canals the next block down from her house. I asked her to tell us which house and she told us it was the house on the corner. When we saw it, we knew just what she was talking about. I took pics & everything.
