very cool i watched this before but didnt catch the grid thing i couldnt see it but it seems more clear now very nice that would totaly make a good range finder say you had it on a tri pod wit ha site
tube you could surround a person in a cube and consult a chart to determan range you would halve to make the chart though not so easy but im glad i watched this you could tell if a dear was to far away or a cop car if you had to shoot
a crooked cop we got a 99% crooked cop ratio here no sht bro

hi there,
you seem to know a lot about LCD screens structure, maybe you can help me.
i'm looking for a way to remove the polarizing filter off the screen, and keep the filter undamaged. the glass is of no interest for me, just the filter.
i tried acetone, hot water, and several solvents, but no go.
any idea?

i remember in high school -i used to flip the polarised screen over in my calculators so that the screen was black with white digits-maybe pull apart cheap monotone LCD's-what do you want it for?

interesting effect, if you have two such grids with tiny hexagons instead of the squares as you have, when you slide them you will see large hexagons! and if you have a grid of evenly spaced dots, or circles, , when you slide the two grids, you will see large dots or circles, whatever the shape of the tiny grid , when you put two together and slide them, you will see the same shape as you have seen here with the squares.... very cool,

yeah any lens will work for close up work (even an magnifying glass)-im having issues with a new camera and the high sound gain.
hears way too much background ,as a result makes the voice the mud in the middle.
think i got it sorted tho -i cut up an ear plug and stuck it over the microphone hole.
we will see when i post next.
the thing i was looking at is a sliding scale graticule, which can be calibrated and used at the focal point of optical devices.
basically a high tech measuring stick
