  • hi angela i am trying to sew spandex and it keeps jamming. what is the right method to sew this material? am i using the right needle? thanks

  • @samuelmakyn Hi, You either want a very sharp needle often called 'microtex' or a jersey ballpoint or a needle labelled stretch. Try a new needle, needles blunt very easily. Are you using pure spandex or a blend? Try lengthening the stitch. If the fabric is being pulled down through the stitch plate try loosening the tension. If you are still having problems email me - go to my channel. I can't post email addresses here it seems. I would like to sort this out for you.
