  • do you need a router for that? i bought the 3.0 and i couldnt use it because i dont have a router, wondering if this 1 will need a router. thanks

  • @F22Raptorific You should not need a router for any external hard drive unless you are trying to network it wireless. You just hook it up direct to your computer for normal use.
