tori's incredibly talented piano and powerful voice are formidable enough, but the unreal emotion of this song pushes the whole experience into another world entirely ... I mean, look … i'm a straight guy ... but i am still absolutely floored with this song ... it belongs in another classification of art because it's referred to as a song, but i mean ... 'lady humps' is a song too ... but do the two “songs” really belong in the same galaxy of definition?

This is my absolute favourite song by Tori Amos - and one of my favourite songs, period. Everything about this song--the melody, the lyrics, her voice--is perfect. I would cry like a baby if I were to hear it live, and admittedly I tend to cry like a baby just by hearing it; it's just so emotional. I reiterate: it's perfect.
