  • These final shows at Red Rocks were the halcyon days of my youth! Set out from Chicago for the Summer Tour that ended with Calaveras California with Santana! God it was so hot--literally and figuratively! I remember at Red Rocks someone had built a fire up on the hill and they did "Fire On The Mountain'! Then Telluride for the Harmonic Convergence and they miffed "Brokedown Palace"--Jerry stopped it and said "We're in the wrong fuckin' key" and Phil said "Professionalism, folks!" Priceless!

  • @09jackstraw Sounds like fun my friend! Unfortunately I'm a little too young to have gotten to see Jerry play, but at least there's Furthur shows to go to I guess. Not the same, but some of that spirit is still there. At least the only piece of it I'll ever know personally.

Would love to get out to Red Rocks sometime too, looks like an amazing place to be.
