@MPSecare High there just to let you know that Damiana has been abused by the synthetic weed companies due to it's great reputation as a healing herb. It has been put on labels as an ingredient (which there is usually minimal) and sprayed with harmful doses of synthetics. The Placebo you talk of is actually an alternative for people wanting to boot the addictive habits of cannabis and/or tobacco. I may be wack as you say, but not in this instance. You should try a calming tea of Damiana :)

A friend introduced me to damiana two nights ago, and I instantly fell in love with it. I've been primarily drinking as tea, but I also smoke it when I do not have access to hot water and tea pouch. The herb gave me a body high (relaxation) and mental clarity. It also enhanced my happiness, peacefulness and appreciation for life. My 18-year meditation practice, of course, probably enhanced my experience with the herb.
