Seiko makes a quality product. The kinetic watch requires movement to make it function. Given minimal action it will perform as designed, holding time and performance for months of no action. It must be used in order to initially perform. Excellent product - great value !!

That's not a HELIUM RELEASE VALVE!! it does not need one. That button is used for depleting the energy stored, in emergency cases when it stops working.
