RIP Paul H. Aurandt - The Rest of His Story

In which I talk about 90 year old Paul Harvey Aurandt, famous radio broadcaster who died on February 19th, 2008.

I wrote this in about 12 minutes and produced it in two takes. I'm sorry if it's not exceptional, I just felt moved to make this because I adored Paul Harvey so very much.

There's seriously something horrible about my voice.

I fully expect him to pop up at the viewing and do a spot for the funeral home.

Paul Harvey will always be considered the "Voice of America". He was a broadcaster, journalist and author. He was the nation's foremost storyteller, and had an uncanny ability to draw you in and make you feel like you were a part of the story. God bless you,Paul. We will miss you.

Paul Harvey defines the term Legend, he will be missed by 22 million people a week.. his news was like no other i have ever heard.. i listened to him everyday at lunch for years.. i regeret the years i quit listening to him, then god called him .. he was the best thing that ever happen to news ! there wont ever be another paul harvey.. you are forever missed..

I was on the road for many years and the days stopped at noon and at 7:30 a.m. and later in the afternoon for each of his broadcasts. I still expect him to come on the radio. Wow. Do I ever miss him!

Well said,Freeda...an excellent eulogy about an extraordinary gentle man who would probably say:
