  • what this is about

    1) there are goals outside of work

    2) if you aren't good at something, you just haven't found the right method yet

    3) you have to do your OWN research to find out what makes people professional athletes/dancers the best. (none of his swimming teachers taught him what angle to hit the water)

    4) Fear is fun, its exciting and conquerable

  • 86 swimming instructors didn't like Tim showing up their incorrect freestyle method.

  • Tim for president!!

  • @greenospreyphish Look at the comment @Janac made.

  • Basically what I got from this is: "EVERYONE COME SEE HOW GOOD-LOOKING I AM!" But really Ferriss is great.

  • @dumanator1 - Amen brother!!

  • This guy is a problem solving machine.Vote Ron Paul and him as vice president! They could fix some shit together!

  • @Janac That's what a top comment is supposed to be like.

  • Absolutely brilliant guy. Probably more brilliant than a lot of the other TEDsters and very unassuming. He should be given one of those 1 hour slots, and hope we get to see a lot more of him

  • The TIM FERRIS IS FABULOUS talk...

I was thrown in the water at age three by my father, two options: sink or survival...swim. All of the physics he refers to sounds like white noise.

Just enjoy thrashing around and you get it.

  • @peasoupanddietcoke I wish this wasn't a top comment, it is very misleading.
