The renowned Wound Care Clinic at Evergreen provides advanced wound and ostomy care as a multispecialty effort that includes treating infections and assuring that underlying disease is well controlled. Our physician panel includes specialists in infectious disease, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery and podiatry, who team with certified wound and ostomy nurses. Ensuring that our services are accessible to what where patients are on the Eastside, we treat patients in inpatient settings, and outpatient settings in collaboration with home health care.
Dr. Robert Geise is board Certified in Internal Medicine and specializes in infections in immune compromised patients, HIV medicine, and oncology infectious diseases. He treats patients within the hospital as well as at the Wound Care Clinic which allows for a seamless transition from diagnosis through treatment.
The Wound Care Clinic at Evergreen treats patients with a variety of wounds including: Diabetic neuropathic ulcers, infected wounds, surgical wounds, atypical wounds, ostomies, osteomyelitis and many other chronic or acute wounds unhealed after conventional treatment. Treatments include many advanced modalities to improve the function and quality of life of every patient seen in the clinic.
