While I have no doubt that her intentions are good I wonder why Michelle Obama is targeting "child" obesity rather than just "obesity". Is it that she knows there would be a backlash if she started telling individual adults "You're too fat"? Awareness is good but pinheads calling for government social engineering programs are not. Let's tread carefully here. There are lots of behaviors that are expensive or can lead to increased health risks. "That government is best which governs least"

How about getting the GMO extra fattening corn etc and additives that aren't healthy or safe out of our food and water? If you eat meat loaded with steroids and all this other crap I'm sure it plays a part. So does our society at large play a part, we don't exactly live in a friendly utopia and people overeat for comfort. Fix societal issues and move from a wage slave competitive ladder climbing money driven facade of a propagandist state.
