Pete was a good drummer, but Ringo was better. The Beatles could never have become "The Beatles" without Ringo. But they should have done something for Pete--put pressure on the DJs to play Pete's records, get him gigs, have him open a few shows, etc.

@brendnju13 I actually lost a lot of respect for Sheridan after I heard him call Pete Best "the biggest loser of all time" and said a few other comments that were not kind to Pete. Sheridan now claims everyone in the studio was telling Best he was a shit drummer and that now Best expects the whole world to feel sorry for him. Sounds very unlikely, I've seen many interviews with Pete, heard him play and met him, he has never come across like that!
