Mazdaspeed3- 12.4 1/4 mile run

This is the second trip to the track testing our new turbo kit. The run was performed on 93oct pump gas using a stock engine,clutch and running low boost.

What size tires are you running? There is now way you can hit 115 in 4th gear in an MS3 with anything close to stock size tires....

Our Rev limiter has been raised to 7500 as well...

We have also hit 117 in 4th as well so it is! :)

@nunyabinness1 yeah but it's too late for that for me. I wanted one in the 1st place, just was out of my price range at the time. I heard they stopped making new ones (?).

@shpankey or you need the Mazdaspeed 6 which is 4WD.

I have a Mazdaspeed 6 and it is amazing how much boost you can get out of the stock turbo with the right boost controller, but since there is no fully programmable ECU for it I keep on running lean at 26psi and I have managed to blow it up 2 times but this time I am doing a complete overhaul only thing left is the 11 pound aluminum flywheel...... its only $350.00 and the stock one is $1200.00

Looks like you need a RMM. That wheel hop is nasty. The Cp-3 RMM on my car also made a WORLD of difference in traction alone. I used to roast the tires through 1, 2nd and partly in 3rd and bark in 4th; now this baby hooks up proper. Minor spinning in 2nd, 3rd gear chirp, despite adding more power. Nice job though guys, I see you on the forums. Race Roots is the real deal people.
