  • Decent effects my ass, computer animation is a cheap cop-out and it looks like crap. Japanese Godzilla is the only Godzilla.

  • 1958??? Godzilla came out in 1954. Godzilla never died??? Oxygen destroyer killed him, and he died in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. Also ( I hope Toho does something about this) Godzilla never defeated DESTOROYAH!!!. Any one that thinks Zilla "US Godzilla" is better then the king him self.... is not a Godzilla fan and their opinions don't matter on the subject.

  • i hate cgi so much

  • The reason for the 1998 remake was the bring godzilla to the west, To do that they felt that they had to make him more realistic than the Toho godzilla, In doing this it annoyed a lot of godzilla fans, To the point were in a later godzilla movie a character names that the creature that attacked new york was called zilla. The godzilla franchise has its share of bad movies too. If you wanted to make a fair review of this you should have compared it to the 1954 godzilla and not them all.

  • Although all oldest versions seem cool, the 1998 version is awesome!!!

  • Of course the old one would win in a fight but i still liked the new one because it didn't just throw random monsters at me that randomly developed the power to shoot lasers and had better effects. The old one's still a classic movie, no doubt

  • Honestly, I liked both godzillas.

  • At least the new monster never looked like some retard in a suit. All were bad movies but at least the new version had some decent effects.
