Such a tragic loss even now :(, used to enjoy talking to Brian at Breighton when G-HURR was part of the Black and Blue pair with PL965

You must of been scared witless m8 being so near? A great shame about the pilot R.I.P :-(

1:13 what a horrific noise, that wouldve haunted me for ever. Would you believe a man at Shoreham yesterday told me to film the whole Battle of Britain segment in case there was another crash, because 'i wouldnt want to miss it'. Idiot.
RIP Brian, you died doing the job you love.

A loss of a great pilot and a great plane. I mean, how many airworthy hurricanes are left?

@TheFlyingPineapple I think there is only 12 still flying in the world.

That must have been, quite terrifying and horrible to observe. Or were you too busy concentrating on the second to notice what happened to the other.
A tragic loss!

Two Hurricanes flew towards me, I filmed HAC, because G-HURR was on my right and silhouetted by the sun, when I heard the explosion, thats when I started filming to my right side.
