I am a black, liberal democrat, AND I felt sorry for her too. It was painful to watch her go through all that. Now she is back for more "punishment". She was the best thing to happen to the Democratic party in 2008, and will be the best thing to happen to the Democrats in 2012. Except for the fact I DO NOT and CANNOT believe that the Republican party would vote that woman as their nominee. I think she is "bait and switch" for 2012.

McCain/Palin Ticket was a recreation of a similarTicket that was successful: Bush/Quayle; Strong leader / Incompentent VP Ticket. Historically the McCain/Palin ticket could have worked. They were trying to re-create a successful campaign (Bush/Quayle) with Palin being the "Historical" candidate (woman) to offset the historical ticket created by the Democrats (Obama).

The mistakes made by the Republicans are the ones they are CONSISTENTLY admonished for: 1. Not knowing that America is not just white people anymore. 2. Joe the Plumber is NOT the face of America anymore. 3. Cannot take for granted that America is going to vote for a white man over a black man anymore. Barack Obama's intelligence, education, articulation, and presence were discounted because he is black...BIG MISTAKE.

McCain's pick to have Palin as vice president is obviously the most irrational pick someone could make. Why would he do this? McCain looked at her record, he knows her, why would he put himself in a such a horrible political position? Inexperience, no education, unable to articulate her thoughts because she doesn't have any thoughts to articulate...I mean its almost as if McCain THREW the election. Her getting ridiculed on every tv show must have been forseen... like it was SET UP
