Actually its not because its processed, white sugar is ashened taking out all the impuritys of the product that it was before, its not unhealthy or bad its just not always good, same thing with maple syrup most that you get on the stores today are processed even the ones that say 100% pure, because nothing is 100% pure with that because if it was it woudl all be white clear liquid. Brown sugar and most natureal cane sugars are not bad for you,
