  • the mother of my child has left me. this song does something to me.

  • @jimidee33 lol At 58 I remember it well, and truly, if I had to exchange the music of the 60's to be young again today well I would just have to say nahhhh I don't think so. I am so glad I was there for that era. it's worth being old today lol We had the best music ever written.

  • @Tonithenightowl Agree! I saw Jay Black on a PBS doo wop special last night. Jay (formerly of Jay and the Americans) sang wonderfully, and in that high tenor like a young man! Incredible. A real show stopper. All those you mention are familiar to me and I truly enjoy them all; each and every one. You're welcome for the response. We enjoy these great singers and performers. What a special era that truly was!

  • @jimidee33 I think we who like these artists have a special place for tenors in our hearts. Pitney, Orbison, Jay Black, Vinton, S. Robinson, Vee, Hyland and one not usually recognized but without a doubt one of the best, Johnny Contardo of Sha na na fame. All brought such emotion to their music. You just don't see this caliber today. If from the 60's era we saw the greatest music ever produced in my humble opinion. Thanks for responding.
