  • Part 2 of this episode is coming, still "processing" ...

  • I'm happy that you'll be posting this whole episode. Do you have all of the episodes of this contestant (Janet)? I know she won a lot of money. She was a great player.

Man, the $25,000 had a lot of great players who would have kicked butt in the $100,000 tournament if they had the chance to be a part of that version. Janet was one of them.

  • GSN skipped the October 4th episode unfortunately.

  • lol @ "designer".

  • haha I'm watching this episode right now on the GSN! i was like, is that the dude from perfect strangers!? had to confirm it!

  • In This Clip, From 0:00 To 0:40, It Was "The $25,000 Pyramid" Video Open From October 2, 1985.

  • Melody has bed hair. she must have taken a nap between tapings.

  • haha, I like it that on "things that are split" the men (on other episodes) usually say "atom" and she said "hair tips" :) kinda funny

  • Was that Bronson's predecursor to his accent of "Prefect Strangers" @ 3:31?

  • The celebrity in the first flashback clip was Audrey Landers I think from June 1983 and the second one was Harry Anderson from the week the PYL promos started airing. September 28, 1985 was when Johnny Olson taped his final overall Body Language episode as well I think.

  • October 2, 1985 was the day Johnny Olson taped his very last TPIR show, and also the day Rock Hudson died.

I've read in a Rock Hudson biography that within the last year of his life, he ranted angrily about Pyramid, "I'm glad we don't have to watch the f***ing Pyramid anymore!", after a friend of his kept watching it at his home on a regular basis.

  • USA Network did show it, though. Or at least I think they did.
