Apocalyptica Perttu Interview - I Don't Care Part 1

Da APOCALYPTICA keinen Vokalisten in ihren Reihen haben, arbeiten sie häufig mit GastsängerInnen (u.a Ville Valo, Sandra Nasic, Marta Jandová), wobei sie bislang stets ein glückliches Händchen bewiesen. Auf ihrem aktuellen TopTen Album „Worlds Collide" findet man unter anderem Features mit Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) und Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil). Die dritte Singleauskopplung „I Don´t Care" präsentiert Adam Gontier am Mikrophon, der Frontmann der kanadischen, bereits mehrfach mit Platin ausgezeichneten Alternative Rockband Three Days Grace ist. Seine gebrochene, enorm charismatische Stimme passt perfekt zu dem sentimentalen Song, der mit dunkler Moll-Atmosphäre beginnt, bevor er sich zu einem dynamischen Midtempo-Hit aufbaut, dessen packender Refrain und wunderschöne Streicher-Melodien einen sofort gefangen nehmen. Mit „I Don´t Care" zeigen APOCALYPTICA einmal mehr, dass sich niveauvoller Tiefgang und eingängige Unterhaltungsmusik keineswegs als Kontrast gegenüberstehen müssen, durchaus auch Hand in Hand gehen können.

I mean you read a few comments about how some girls think that Perttu looks good and say that this is everything they think about? I mean thats just seriously fucked up. You can't generalize like that. And I do take this so seriously because that's just everything you hear if you like listening to this kind of music.
