Eric Johnson - The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise: Tribute to Les Paul [Guitar Masters Tour]

Thanks to an anonymous Youtube user and my mom for giving me the song title.

I'm very sorry about the terrible camera work on this song. I cut off the right side as I closed the camera and tried to hold it in place.

Last night here in Milwaukee, Eric Johnson, Andy McKee, and Pippino D'Agostino kicked off the Guitar Masters tour. As you can imagine, it was superb. I recorded several songs by Eric, but only two of them had video. I was attempting to line up the shot before the song and then close the camera so the LCD screen didn't bother others in the audience.

After each of the three guitarists had a set, they played 3 collaborative pieces which were stellar. It was like an acoustic G3, except the collaborative songs made you want to leap for joy instead of jam steel picks in your ears. If you get a chance to see a show on this tour, do it!

Particularly good was Andy's new song with his harp guitar titled "Away." Eric played a couple of piano songs as well which were terrific. I got to shake their hands after the show and they all signed my ticket. I let them know they needed a fourth song to use as an encore, so hopefully future legs of the tour will have an encore.
