Maybe you simply have a better specification Desktop than mine, which is why the game runs at a higher frame rate for you.

I am not sure what this 'Game Booster' is to be honest. O_o;;
I've tried recording at 25 fps, 30, 50, and 60. Each one gave me 15-20 fps on average and it didn't make any difference to which setting i had it on, it came out the exact same.
Bear in mind though that when i play the game without Fraps recording i get 25-30 fps on average, which is good and smooth enough. I'd be happy with 20-25 fps but cannot seem to even manage that.

This Is very unusual; Have you tried running Game Booster while recording? Also What FPS are you trying to record at? 30 FPS is recommended as fraps changes your frame rate to what you want it to record at.
