The story seems weak. Even though this doesn't show much the whole alien invasion thing has been done to death now.
MusicAfterSilence 1 year ago
@MusicAfterSilence Not the way we will approach the feature. It is about an alien invasion that may or may not be happening. It will be part industrial espionage thriller mixed with rainbow 6, much less a sci-fi. The dialogue for this short wasn't mine. So it doesn't represent the script I've been developing for 3 years. I do agree that in the short time we had, the story for this specific short could have been much better. TK-170 will be very different @everyone else who liked it, thanks!

This trailer relies too much on special effects to sell the point. I love the opening, but after that it falls flat. Its put together awkwardly that when I watch it I do not understand what is happening. Why are people flying through the sky? Also some of the dialogue said in the trailer just sounds plain silly. I suggest a musical ensemble-one pumping at the start, melo at the middle and drama, a more defined 2nd and 3rd act. Removing the last 10 seconds of dialogue to replace dramatic music.

@123Kenge this was Ridley Scott's dialogue. entrants used for the contest. This establishes from an alien perspective entering earth's atmosphere, taking samples, then abducting someone important. you see a UFO in the sky after that. It's clear. I've composed music since I was 14. Music/film is subjective. There are many ways to do it, but we did the best we could in the time allowed & this great effort my awesome team put in on 0 budget. It's not perfect..but our screenplay will blow your mind.
