I replaced the screen, it was fun! I accidentely damaged cable which is i think connecting volume and power buttton to the mainboard, so i guess i buy one on ebay and replace it also. I'd loved to see video of this quality about replacing that cable.

I stupidly watched another video that didnt mention 5:25. Ive pulled the connector off the mainboard that does the headphone jack. Does anyone know a fix for this?

@rosefuneral6 The digitizer cable (the one that you have to snap in upside-down is probably not connected properly, had the same problem.

@nicole33455 Further down in the comments we do address this, you may need to do a hard reset by holding the Home Button and Power/Sleep button at the same time for 10 seconds. The device will turn off and then on again shortly thereafter. If that does not work, then hook it up to your computer and do a restore via iTunes. This will erase your data that is not backed-up. Either one of those should help.

I realised that I must have ripped that important ribbon cable, the one you're supposed to be extra careful with when you take the metal plate off. Ahh well :(

I'm getting frustrated trying to get the digitizer ribbon snapped in. How can fully remove the mainboard.

@rembertervin247 You would need to first remove the screw at the top next to the camera, then remove the screw for the wi-fi ribbon cable. Finally you will need to detach the ribbon cable for the front facing camera. Once done, there is about 2 more inches of room that opens up so you can get eyes on the connection. but you must be very careful, as you will be bending the logic board and it very well may break if bent too much. Plus to reattach the camera cable is difficult
