we HAVE to do all this jus for a screen replacement?

This is the best and most proper way to do this. It seems like a lot and like it can take a while. However, the more electronics repair experience you have, the less time it takes. If you're not exactly sure on what you're doing, take your time and be very careful. Anything not done properly can make the device completely unusable and unrepairable.

I tried it then it didnt want to turn on but wheni pluged in the charger it mad the noise that its charging then i holded the home button and voice control came on and i said play a song and it was playing a song but the screen never turned on plz help asap

Try a hard reset. Hold the power and home button down together until the device shuts off. Keep holding until the apple logo appears then let go. That usually works.

my device wont turn on

I didn't take the hold thing apart, just the part near the camera at the top was unconnected so I took the screen part off n pushed it back in and it still wont cut on

I dropped my iPod a while back ad when I pocked it up I thought it was fine no cracks nothing but when I hit the home or lock button the screen is nearly impossible to see. Is it possible to fix? Or worth it?
