@iTrick2 No, sushi is when there is rice with sushi vinegar. Raw fish is not required. Raw fish is sashimi. It's a common misconception.

@iTrick2 Sushi is not necessarily wrapped in seaweed. Nigiri sushi does not have seaweed. Maki sushi does. Some sushi has egg, not fish. It's still sushi. Yes, it's true that most sushi uses raw fish, but not always. And when it does use fish, it's not always raw. Eel is cooked, while shrimp is usually cooked.
And yes, sashimi is raw fish (or seafood). It's not always thinly sliced, either. Often, it's around 1cm thick.

@snarf66 Really? *CLEARSTHROAT* Definition of SUSHI: rice (with raw fish) wrapped in seaweed. Sashimi is very thinly sliced raw fish.

U have to eat the whole sushi to know its taste otherwise you'll just be eating the rich and seaweed and not the stuffings in the middle.
