  • well... you forgot to clean the hub !!!!!.. I won't go to your shop !!. each piece must be cleaning

  • I wouldn't throw out the old cartridge, or anything really. Usually the only parts that wear are the bearings, gears, and paws, not the covers.. gear cages other none moving stuff..... So yeah I'd say that's pretty wasteful.

  • Yeah, don't bother cleaning out the old grease/worn metal particles. They're essential to the customers rather sudden request for another overhaul.

  • Throwing those parts out seems a bit odd. Yes they wear but I thought only after a billion years like the old bendix units...

  • nice vid, but there's atleast on Shimano units, there's no reason to discard the shoes, bearings, cartridge unit, etc. only actuater springs [and damaged components] should be replaced (however I've reused many w/ great success) also creasent wrench on locknuts? 12 pt socket would be be much better
