http://zennie2005.blogspot.com/2009/01/bowoto-v-chevron-is-back-in-court-feb.... -- Bowoto v. Chevron Is Back In Court Feb 6th 2009 and for the purpose of the plaintiffs explaining why a new trial is needed. The believe that the core idea that claims Chevron acted in violation of the Alien Tort Act was not understood by the jury, but given the nature of the incident -- tresspassing by Bowoto -- it's hard for me to see how they can make that claim.

  • Good exapmle, one problem.. the house, where is the house. Is the house on the land of those who wish to be employed? Did the rich home owner who will not employ the locals initially steal land or resources from the locals?

Some people feel they have privilege over others for no reasons other than frabricated reasons followed up by murder, intimidation, coersion, and theft.

  • yes it is.

but regardless of it all, its sad this kind of stuff even happens.

  • i think bowoto and the others involved with him they should be charged with trespassing.

if they still wanna recieve pay for damages then they should go after the military police who did it not chevron. but i think that they are under the impression because chevron is so big they can get SO much money from them.
