This combines both paintings of the real Marie Antoinette, and pictures from the 2006 film. The song is by Corinna Fugate and I had her permission to use it. Check out her music at myspace.com/corinnafugate

  • mg... why can't people just stick with her normal portriats everyday its all about a movie that doesn't even show the true thing and the most important key of her life..

sorry if it offends anyone but i love marie antoinette and i know that she disagrees with that movie.. her great great great neice says shes never been more embarresed!

  • Well that would be a neat trick considering she's been dead for a long time, unless if they had her head preserved somewhere and it was critiquing her own movie.

  • Actually, the portrait at 00:48 is of Empress Eugenie dressed as Marie Antoinette, but not the actual MA.

  • Oh... Oops...

  • Did you actually seee the film yet? There is a scene "LE Petit Trianan"....which is just so unbelievably beautiful. When I was a little girl I went to France and Versailles but never saw Le Petit Trianan which was Maries' little cottage home...I hope to see it one day, it's lovely...like this video!

  • I completely forgot to tell you, but I finally saw this movie like... almost a month ago I'm gonna guess. I thought it was pretty good, though a little slow moving, but I guess it was needed to show what her life was really like. But yeah, I finally saw it :)

  • The wide-mouthed Champagne glass was originally modelled on Marie Antoinette's breast. Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, was one of the most sought-after women of her time, chased by men of all stations. Her breast, which became the toast of the town, was only an A cup, based on the original mold still held in France. This woman was considered extremely sexy, extremely attractive, and she was proud enough of her breasts to celebrate them as a Champagne glass!

  • Where did you get this song from? I tried to download it from limewire but it does not work. Where did you get it? I understand that Corinna Fugate is a fairly new artist. Brand new actually and a very mysterious girl. But how did you get it? Did you buy it? Is it okay if you sent it to me?

  • Amazingly gorgeous
