Elisha's Life In Rural India

A short docu on daily life for a young girl in ancient Northeast India. Elisha is the first person in her family to ever attend school. Her father carries a sewing maching on his back each day to find work at the market -- and sometimes she will go along to help him.

I wonder If they fed and educated the hindu children that were also hungry and poor.

I am a christian but in my eyes everyone is equal. They do not have to be a christian to recieve my blessing. Giving them food and schooling in return for them being brainwashed into christianity is wrong.

I'm all for preaching the word! Just not in this manner. We should all help each other regardless

Of course the organization feeds and educates Hindu children. In fact it is very possible that more children in their program are Hindu than Christian. Their Faith is not a prerequisite to loving care - that would be totally contrary to what Jesus calls us to do/be. Read His words/life to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
