Hi Karen! Excellent hula hooping! I just spoke with John aka UBI this morning. I was introduced to the hula hoop as a 3rd grader at Pearl Harbor Kai elementary school in Honolulu, HI when it was known as Territory of Hawaii. I used to take mine to school on the bus and they'd store them atop the overhead handrails. Great, inexpensive, beneficial invention of the 1950's. =) Warm regards, Brad
Good to meet you, Karen. Came across you on this site as I was curious as to some of the links. What an interesting thought...may have to try!
