Video link with me using my ATs ^^
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpLOoy9Ro44

I attempted 2 Make ATs With NO Motor,
Supposed To Look Like Agito and Akito's ATs
Though I Changed The Look Because
"Too Much Detail Can Equal Major Repairs Later"

Materials Used - Air Dry Clay (Detail on The Skates) - Mighty Putty (Base on Rollerblades: Where Air Dry Clay Will Stick and To Seal Cracks) - Screws and Metal Plates (Replace Back Wheel Moving It Closer To The Back)

Postive and Negative After ATs Made: + Really Lite Like Real Skates - Looks and Feels Fragile

Re Check Video Later For Agito and Akito Cosplay RE (Teehee XD)

Also Instead Of Doing A File I'm Going To DO A Video Instead So If You Want Subscribe and a Video RE Will Be Put Up Later To This Video ^_^

Description of How I Made It (Not very Detailed, Working On A Video Right Now ^_^)

so the materials i used are:
- might putty
- air dry clay
- Small triangular door hinges no larger than 1 inch or so or smallest you can find

so after i cut the back wheel supports off, i needed the original holes where the wheels and screws go

so i recut the part with the holes (from the roller blade frame, mine was an excess peice that i cut off to refit) to fit in place with the whole roller blade (orginal rollerblade) like a puzzle, i needed to make sure that the back wheels lined up with the front wheels oon flat surface to ensure stability

to hold it back in place i used the smallest door hinges i could find (not real thin not too big, triangular worked best for me, 1inch or so) i had to re-drill in a 4th hole on the hinges for extra support

i used a total of 4 screws on each side of the rollerblade (total of 16 screws: 8 on each rollerblade) there will be gaps and such i used mighty putty to seal the gaps, worked pretty good or you can find something similar that is moldable but hardens like a rock

i used mghty putty again to cover up and plastic part of the rollerblade where airdry clay was going to be placed on (airdry clay sticks the best on a non plastic surface)

the design was simple, the rollerblades were pretty cool looking already so i worked my design into whats already there (reference came from my air gear books, vol1 1-10 had nice pictures and detail)

air dry clay takes a good amount of time to dry, mine had several cracks in it so i used elmers wood glue to seal in the cracks of the air dry clay

after all was sculpted i sanded it smooth and spray painted it white, than did multiple layers to cover up little cracks

hoped this helped somehow ^_^

  • can you make a video wearing it?

  • i have concept designs for something very similar to AT's the product obviously wouldnt be as fast as real ones but i have an idea for quite alot of speed (legal speed) and a function for less leg movement while riding them so gliding smoothly without feeling the strain of pushing all the time, they will be fashionable and i will try to bring out a first set of emblem style velcro stickers to customize your AT's along with many different wheel designs and ofc donate profits for a second season.

  • i really hope AT come out evetually some day i'll pay like anythink for them they become moterized xD

i mean roller balding is loads of fun and i wear mine jst bout every day for hell of it and skate round my neighborhood or go to the skate park

i think its time for them to advnace into become motorized :) they look great sure there'll be accident but hey what fun thing doesnt come with some rik or another xD

  • I beleave real AT's could be made some1 just has to figure out how to make them go! I think it can be done with computers, laser's,& a purpulsion system! Lol the easy-est part is the memory stick, sd cards could work!

  • I'll buy if you make name price contact me at deadg4mer@yahoo.com please

  • wonder if AT's can use the same tech as an emergency flashlight to power a motor

so when the wheels rotate you'll keep getting energy to use the motor
