Great rare audience shot film by Davy Hall.
A couple blurry moments as Davy tries to focus from the balcony.
Excellent filming job with nice long segmants.
Long before the iphone/youtube days if you wanted to record segmants of video at a concert you had to use a bulky handheld video camera with actual film, which you would have to send away to be processed before you could even watch it on your home projector.
Here we have quite a classic & historic set recorded from the balcony of the Hammersmith in London As Tull were wrapping up the Stormwatch tour. This was one of the very last Tull shows with the classic lineup as John Evan, Barrimore Barlow, and David Palmer would be gone for good just days later. As you will see Tull were indeed in top form!
Imagine seeing this set these days.
This original film has just been re-transfered by myself using HD technology making this a first generation transfer with actual sound in 3 parts.
Please do not copy or use film without permission. Enjoy! Thanks to Davy!
Tulltapes
Great recording. Almost as good as if it was professionally shot. One of the best audience recordings I've seen.
