Thx for the response. These devices we are trying to monitor aren't actually within the LAN environment so we can't simply run the WhatsConnected as we have multiple remote sites connected throughout our WAN network. So basically what I am trying to do is I have all the sites names and IP info in a excel/CSV file which I would like to import into WUG.

@hollapro You can use the host file discovery method within WhatsUp Gold. That is the closest thing to a CSV file import.

We are running WUG V14.3 Is is possible to do the Import such a CSV file to WUG so we can populate it faster and do the fine tuning after in WUG?

@hollapro You can export directly from WhatsConnected into WhatsUP Gold. There is no need to export to CSV and then import import into WhatsUp Gold. Simply right-click on any map within WhatsConnected and you will see the WhatsUp Gold option under the export menu.

Is there a limit on the amount of devices i can import using the host file. Also can i customize the host file where it will automaically import display name I would like to use rather than what it picks up from the IP during the scan.
