Did you use the Motorsport pack / holder for mounting the cam to the mini? Have you used any kind of additional security feature, in case the suction base detaches from the car?

We used the Suction Cup Mount which come with the GoProHD Hero 2 Motorsports Edition. The mount won't fall of if you first clean the surface so everything is clear. So a securing loop isn't necessary for this mount!
