Love the video I started my locs Feb 2010 and have came so close to given up ..I realize the phase Im in know everyone goes through the same thing. Im learning to embrace my locs

@atwl79 I know it's awkward at first but it's trial by fire. After you are humbled you will be rebuilt only taller, stronger and straighter.

Thank you for your words of encouragement at the end. Started my journey around a month and a half ago and I can't seem to get used to this 'new look' I have with my own hair - been hiding behind braids for years! Your hair is beautiful - thanks for this video:-)

@joyelhall1 I wore braids for years and it was hard for me to see myself in the mirror with those short twists. I had just started a new job and I was so self-conscious! With time your new look will become your signature look. New can't be new forever!
