well, i live in orkney myself and whenever im traveling to see family i go to edinbrugh and thats just exactly 1 hour and it would probably be 1 hr15 or so..

Good little video and a good picture quality for once.
How long did it take you to fly from Glasgow to Orkney?. I live on Shetland and last(and only so far) time I flew from Shetland to Glasgow it was a good one and a half hours.
It was in Nov 07 and during the flight the pilot came on the tannoy and apologised for the coldness in the plane and said that "it's due to a stiff north wind"!.

It depends on the weather. You get turbulence in any type of aircraft, but the Saab 340 does pick it up. And yes, you get a free drink :D

Are those little saab things bumpy?-I am going from GLA to derry on one in august.Also do you get the free refreshments like on mainline BA at heathrow and gatwick?
