Shanda was a loving, bright, incredible young lady who struggled the past 5 years after finding drugs and then meth. Thinking drugs would solve all her problems. Her family tried so hard to share with her how important she was and they reached out for help, but due to the legal system help wasn't available until she was in too deep. Finally at Camp Outlook she found hope, she found strength, she found a partner, Annabelle and together they were clean for quite a time. After loosing her job, they came back to town, and they never left. A tragic RV fire, caused by meth , took the lives of three "lost" young ladies. Who will forever be missed.
These were ordinary girls. Please say no to meth. These girls paid for it in death.

  • normal, well-adjusted kids dont just wake up one day and decide to use Meth. She wasn't as "bright, incredible" as the description suggests. Sorry to be so blunt.

  • @rockbay79 Do you realize what a complete contradictory statement that is? Especially coming form somebody who I'm assuming calls themselves a Christian. Only the Lord can judge others. She could have followed Christ's teachings every day of her life, and the meth would have had no impact on whether or not she was accepted at the pearly gates. This is coming from a devout atheist. If I know more about your religion than you do, there's a fucking problem. And you're an idiot.

  • the audacity people have to write these hateful things behind a computer screen!

  • as someone who personally knew Shanda and it hurts to read these comments. have some compassion for the people who lost someone special.

  • @don417

your words cut like a blunt knife. you don't know her. i knew her. she was my best friend.

  • @whited1a good. Does this mean you'll stop sending me messages now? I'm bored with your ass.

  • @whited1a ps. everybody "struggling" already knows the consequences and knew the consequences when they decided to do what they do ight

  • @whited1a god damn jus give up i came here to listen to some music an i get a notification for somthin i wrote a month ago but seems like 4 months ago drop it damn

  • @don417 -sir.. you had best study some more. Because there are many well to do people and "soccer moms" out there searching for the edge and meth captures them. Secondly, your response about me "being high" is inaccurate. Your statement is that of a bully trying to persuade or force his opinion by making others look bad. - Didn't work out for you though.

  • @dravenousone - you are correct, at no point have I said Drugs are a disease....and if you read the comment you'll see I agree they are a choice in life, that people choose when they are lost emotionally, or are trying to be accepted. - But the song and the "real " lyrics not the ones you posted above are of dreams, despair, and finding. The arms she found were the Lords and he accepts her.

  • @20bball10 - such language makes me really respect your opinion. Dude, you got a lot to learn - have you read any of the comments I wrote? I have not stood up for her drug use, I am sharing her story because there are many more out there struggling and they need to know the consequences. Hoping 1 just one goes clean and back to their family.

  • @dravenousone - where do you get your lyrics? Are your lyrics your story?

For others out there- here are the real lyrics.

I used to think that I could not go on

And life was nothing but an awful song

But now I know the meaning of true love

I'm leaning on the everlasting arms

If I can see it, then I can do it

If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

..the story for others to look beyond despair, look and reach for their dreams.
