@AshtonPhoto Jeremy Clarkson's review of the Ford Mondeo ST 220 has plenty of references for it being better. People want BMWs because they think it's better because it's more premium and has a better reputation than Ford. Same thing applies with Apple over other companies. You took analogy because 90% of people believe it is true, but only he people who truly know cars know it's not as sound as it looks (e.g. the Top Gear crew)

@AshtonPhoto Because Apple users are the ones to say "hur hur, apple's better than [insert computer manufacturer here]" when in reality, they're not. Steve Job's FBI file says he was known for being deceptive and twisted the truth for his benefit - he used a HTC Desire, for instance, and turned around the next moment and said Android was a piece of shit. The same thing applies for Apple. Apple fanboy logic is "Apple is better because it is", and I'm just trying to talk sense into them

I don't get it. Why is it that everything Apple does is considered 'hype'? iLife is one of their products and they advertise the fact, just like everybody else.

Ok, so people like iLife, and THAT is the 'hype'. Is that wrong??

@AshtonPhoto Oh and also, I personally have a Mac as well as an HP and might I just say, all those overhyped iLife apps are absolutely useless to me, because a photo is just a photo. I don't want to spend hours trying to make a photo look nicer and then show it everyone and brag now I changed the contrasts of this and made that look better, because, frankly, that's about as interesting as doing pie charts and spreadsheets
