@Cagey75 Well, not that I think it's a good word to use in proper speech, but I also think you are probably unaware of the nuances of that word in America, seeing as you've already admitted you are an Irishman. While yes, "fag" can be used to denote a homosexual, it doesn't only mean that. I don't use the word any more, but when I was a kid, we used it all the time, and never in a sense that literally meant "you're homosexual." It's just become a generic insult like asshole, douche, or loser.
