  • @TwoWolves7 There was bumper-to-bumper traffic trying to get through town and over the bridge. The bridge was under construction therefore there was only 2 narrow ways across the bridge. From what I've heard, it happened so fast and because of the traffic there wasn't really anywhere they could go after the water started rising feet per minute. Obviously there would have been ways to avoid this happening, but we can just be glad everyone was okay.

  • What a dirty town

  • the flood happened the day AFTER we wrapped our shoot on the feature film, MOUNT JOY. LUCKY!!!

  • wow!!!

  • I refuse to pay for cable(this changed my life for real!) because the" real stories" are cut and edited so bad you dont know whether to believe them or not.... from the people for the people!!!!!! Keep up the good reporting of our world around us!!

  • Thank god they were saved. It could of been a lot worse. The fire dept did a great job, true heroes. My prayers are with everyone affected by this flooding.

  • Tip if stranded in flood... Apply brakes. It helps. Lol

  • Gas on right, brake on left...lift left foot, hammer down right foot...

  • I was skipping rocks here today:)

  • So glad I got home when I did.

As I drove through town, the intersection at Darrkenkamps and Burger King was already starting to flood down the street.

Thanks goes out to all our emergency personal and their hard work around the area.
