I'll never text and drive. Doing anything that takes your eyes of the road is stupid and dangerous, not to mention selfish. "I've GOT to take this text message, no matter who's life I endanger in the process". But at the same time I don't want the cell phone outlawed in the car altogether. You can talk the phone without taking your eyes off the road, and if you have a head-set you can keep both hands on the wheel. I shouldn't lose my phone because other people are making stupid decisions.

I am very appalled at the comments I'm reading on this. Also, I can't believe this only has 129,000 views. If you need to know where you're going, put the address in a GPS or PULL OVER AND CALL THE PERSON FOR DIRECTIONS. If you don't want to pull over, write them down before you leave. So many simple solutions and many over look the common sense. It's not a matter of multi-tasking, it's a matter of focus and being safe.

Makes me appriciate that I'm a face-to-face kinda person anyways. I hardly use my phone mainly because it is just such an impersonal way to converse and creates socially retarded zombies. But this video definately shows four more reasons to toss your phone in the trunk.

@spazamaquati Of couse it won't fix the problem. But the consequences provided as examples should subconciously stick everytime some overly-confident teen whips out their Blackberry on the road. Weather the teen decides to make the decission to put it away is out of the video's hands.
"Another"? Wow... your sarcasm is a rather crusty insult to the people who grieve in this video. Don't waste your time watching "another" video if you're just going to be a sour pickle and inconsiderately spat.

Sometimes terrible things happen. I was in an awful car accident in September, they had to staple my head back together, because a guy decided to run a red light. I don't hold that against him, and there's no precautions I can take. People die prematurely every day by things that could have been avoided. I like this campaign, but there's not much you can do in the end. To me, if it's gonna happen, there's nothing texting and driving can do to change that.

also, this stuff is real, just don't do it, folks
to those that dislike the vid, I think you seriously need to reevaluate the way you think about this topic

nine people like texting while driving and can't live with the potential consequences

Why text and drive? Texting sucks.

@worthmoremusic your fucking ignorant. all you stupid pussys are the ones that have to wake up. its a free country. if you want to risk your life, your aloud to. its a parenting issue, i am 19 and i have a phone, but i don't text and drive... all kids do stupid shit. its up to the kids and the parents to learn your limits, same as alcohol
@noutube The sarcasm is appreciated, thank you. -_-
that's clearly not the issue here. The issue is teenagers texting back and forth for stupid bullshit like the video said. I don't care if it's an "I love you" or a "k", it can wait.
