Its what i like to call vulgure drumming,...why would anyone want to listen to this? It sounds like you just fucked the kit of a cliff and let it roll down the mountain side for 1:57....sorry to burst your bubble.

I Think the solo is pretty good. But you have to chill out at least for one groove to show you could do crazy and soft.

I thought about that too, but I just had so many ideas that I wanted to get in there within the limited 2 minute time span....and when the competition said show us your best stuff, I wanted to pack it with creative, high level of difficulty drumnastics.... but yeah, if I had more time I would have layered more melody and grooves in there.... good luck to you

Yes, that is double pedal there at 35 seconds, it took me a while to work out that pattern where each hand is crossing over each other while moving between the snare, floor tom, and hi-hat while also twirling the stick and keeping the beat going on the snare and floor tom (not to mention the double bass pedal filling the triplet pattern between each hand note).. I tried to pack as much into it difficulty wise as possible since Modern Drummer said "show us your best stuff"...thanks for watching

It was a very cheap Chin Dal cymbal which had a nice dark sound despite its very cheap price, and served its purpose filling in for some gigs... but obviously not constructed very well....
