mid 2000's there were chinese dealerships popping up on the west coast, but many failed. For 10grand you got a car about on par witht he 90's geo metro (with higher rates of critical failure though) but little dealership support, and parts not standard to our market.. It seemed they figured out that americans buy new cars in an outlet fashion, but missed that americans expect a lot of services from that outlet.

The way they are moving forward, I guess they have already started influencing american market and have already entered US market. The title "The Chinese are Coming" refers to past.
