  • Pardon me for mentioning this but it seems the words are backwards. Was there a problem uploading the video or was the short like this? This is the first time I've heard and seen of this Rankin/Bass version of Peter Cottontail. I've seen most of their work but not this one.

  • @taurusgirl65 I purposely ran a mirror image filter on this video, apparently it helps to trick youtube's copyright technology. I don't think it worked though, because I still got a copyright notice on this video. Hopefully youtube doesn't remove it

  • Yep.

  • @JesseAndMike 5 Easters ago.

  • @bcakapinky That's awesome! :D Where'd you get it from? :D

  • @JesseAndMike Yep. And BTW, I have it on DVD in the attic in the "Peter Cottontail Collection" DVD box along with "Here Comes Peter Cottontail: The Movie" in the box of Easter stuff.

  • The theme song from this special lingered in my head for ages. Glad to see it again!

  • Backwards

  • Oh Vincent Price, even as a bunny you're awesome.

  • I love Danny Kaye's narrator character!! WAY better than Fred Astaire's!!

  • Even though the words being backwards is kind of ick, once that part is over, watching the rest of it isn't a problem.

  • What does he say at 1:51? It cracks me up, but I can't quite make it out.
